Workshop on OBE-Based and MBKM-Oriented Curriculum Preparation

PRINGSEWU (UAP) – Curriculum is one of the important parts of education, the type of curriculum applied in an education determines the success of learning in education itself. As a form of creating a better and quality education, Aisyah Pringsewu University held a workshop discussing " Preparation of OBE (Outcome Based Education) and Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) Curriculum" which was attended by leaders, lecturers in the Aisyah Pringsewu University environment, Saturday (4/2).

The workshop presented Dr . Lucia RM Royanto, M.Si., M.Sp.Ed. Psychologist Head of Sub-Directorate for Capacity Building of Academic Staff, Directorate of Academic Development and Learning Resources (DPASDP) Universitas Indonesia moderated by Andi Mulyono, S.E., M. Ak.

The workshop which discussed the "Preparation of OBE (Outcome Based Education) and Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) Curriculum" was officially opened by the Rector of Aisyah Pringsewu University Wisnu Probo Wijayanto, S.Kep., Ners., MAN.

Vishnu Probo Wijayanto, S.Kep., Ners., MAN in his remarks said that the workshop was a very important moment for Aisyah Pringsewu University.

He emphasized that this workshop activity aims to improve the quality of education for the academic community at Aisyah Pringsewu University related to the development of OBE and MBKM-based culuculums, active learning methods, OBE-based Evaluation and Assessment and the implementation of OBE in MBKM, he said.

Defy Gustianing, M.Pd as the secretary of the activity said, this workshop is a series of activities on updating the Curriculum of the Study Program which aims to produce a curriculum that is in accordance with the four main pillars (Outcome-Based Education / OBE, 21st Century Skills, Digital Literacy, and Independent Learning Independent Campus / MBKM), produces a curriculum that makes graduates have critical thinking, able to solve problems, and adaptive, as well as produce a curriculum that produce graduates who have the ability to apply and utilize science and technology.
