Welcome to the official website of the Master of Midwifery Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Aisyah Pringsewu University.
As part of an institution committed to the development of midwifery science, we are constantly developing an outcome-based and progressive education system. The educational process that we run is oriented towards sustainability, responding to the needs of the world of work, and adapting to the dynamics of the global market. We realize this through a curriculum that is comprehensively designed based on the Outcome Based Education (OBE) approach. This curriculum is integrated with the vision, mission, goals, and objectives (VMTS) of the study program and is periodically evaluated by the Faculty's Quality Assurance Unit to ensure the quality and relevance of education.
We have a big goal to produce midwifery master graduates who are not only competent in midwifery, but also excel in research with a digital transformation approach, based on the values of akhlakul karimah. By referring to the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI) level 8, we ensure that the learning process covers various aspects, including the development of a research-based curriculum and community service. Our flagship curriculum is designed to build digital intelligence, mastery of the values of the Qur'an and Hadith, entrepreneurship, and expertise in digital health midwifery that are relevant to future midwifery challenges.
To support academic development, we implement learning methods such as Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Case-Based Method that integrate research results and community service. These efforts have produced various innovative works that are recognized both nationally and internationally. In addition, the academic atmosphere in our study program continues to be improved through collaboration with the World of Business and the World of Work Industry (DUDIKA), presenting expert speakers, organizing international seminars and conferences, and encouraging students to conduct scientific studies abroad.
We believe that quality education is the main key to producing graduates who are not only ready to compete in the world of work, but also able to make real contributions to the development of midwifery practice, answer future health challenges, and bring positive changes to society.
